Hi Folks

Thought this should be a relatively painless install but turned out rather
difficult.

When installing VS05 Trial the install errors on

ADODB, Version="7.0.3300.0", PublicKeyToken="bo3f5f7f11d50a3a",
FileVersion="7.10.3077.0", Culture="neautral", HRESULT:0x80070002

I know the HRESULT indicates the install cant find specific assemblies - but
how can I get round this to install?

I have tried a burned DVD, an ISO mount and loading to the hard drive all
with the same result!

Any feedback on how I might approach the re-install?

Sorry - should have stated this on an XPSP2 box without any VS install
previously (updated some Framework files with auto-update though - its a new
box). Also installed Office 2007 Enterprise previously.
