I've downloaded the iso image for VS2008 PRO, but whenever I try to mount it
as a virtual DVDROM drive using the Virtual CDROM Control Panel tool from
Microsoft, I get the "Mount Failed" error. I've used the tool successfully
before. Is there something about this .iso image that is incompatible with
this tool? Do I need to buy isobuster of something similar to mount the iso
image without burning it to a DVD?

I Use VirtualCloneDrive to mount Images and it worked fine with this.

I've had problems using the virtual CDROM Control Panel and kept
receiving the "Mount Failed" errors. I resolved this problem once by
removing spaces and characters from the folders that the ISO was in
and another time by shortening the name of the folder the ISO was in.

I get this from time to time. Remove the drive, stop and remove the driver
thru the UI. Reinstall the driver thru the UI. This always works for me. If
it gets stuck, reboot and redo the above.
