Hi there,

I'm new in creating a setup. However. My question is how can prevent the
installation proces to not override a existing file while make a update.

Thx

Standard behavior is based on versions - is this a versioned file? Also, was
this file installed by a previous version of your setup or is it some file
that is already on the system?
VS doesn't do updates exactly - RemovePreviousVersions installs the old
version of the product then installs the new, so the idea of overwrite
doesn't exist if the file is installed from a previous version of your
product.

Correction, duh.... - RemovePreviousVersions UNinstalls the old version of
the product then installs the new....
