Installed Visual Studio 2005 Pro on Vista RTM, and it warned that it has
some issues with Vista.
Primarily that Frontpage Server extensions don't work on Vista, and that SP
1 of VS 2005 is needed in order to run on Vista.
At the time of my installation, SP 1 had not yet been released (although it
has now, and can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=BB4A75AB-E2D4-4C96-B39D

so don't know if all issues have been resolved. Haven't yet installed it.
Note though, that VS 2003 is NOT supported on Vista, at least not the web
developer part, as frontpage server extension as stated above cannot be
installed on Vista, and so VS 2003 cannot debug and connect to IIS.
The funny part is that VB6 is the only developer program supported by Vista
without any stated problems from MS, and that is something like 8 years old
by now.
