I had an evaluation copy of Visual Studio 2005 on my PC.
After it had expired, I unintsalled it - (using add-remove).
I then installed Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Software Developers -
ENU
from my MSDN license (Dec 2005 Disc 3073).
Now, if I fire up VS, I still get stopped with:
"The evaluation period for Visual Studio Trial Edition has ended"
How can I make it accept my MSDN version ?
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
>Now, if I fire up VS, I still get stopped with:
>"The evaluation period for Visual Studio Trial Edition has ended"
This could be caused by the Visual Studio 2005 trial version hasn't been
removed completely from your machine.
I suggest you to uninstall the Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Software
Developers from your machine first, and also perform a complete uninstall
of your previous VS2005 trial edition due to the following MSDN article's
directions:
Uninstalling Previous Versions of Visual Studio 2005
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/aa718704.aspx
Then I suggest you manually delete all the VS2005 related registry keys and
directories in your machine before you reinstall the Visual Studio 2005
Team Edition for Software Developers.
I wish this helps. If anything is unclear, please don't hesitate to let me
know.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Gary Chang
