hi,
the hard drive on which vs 2005 failed, I put in a new hard drive and now I
want to un-Install vs then do a fresh install. The un-install failed because
it cannot find the Installation program (which was on the failed hard
drive). So what to do?

Thanks

I am also having the exact problem when i installed the 6 months trial. the
hard disk was older so i dedicated to the Visual studio. The system drive was
on my new hard disk which is still fine... now wehenever i try to unisntall
VS2005 it started to uninstall and after doing something for a while it
displays a messaged that uninstall is failed. i do really wanna install it
again on my machine as we are in a process to buy the VS 2005 soon because we
have to start working on a new project soon

Thanks every one and kind regards,
