Although I have seem similar threads they don't seem to help. I have VS2002,
2003 & 2005 (Team Edition for Software Developers) on my machine. Even
though I installed the MSDN library at the same time as the last (VS2005)
install, and have subsequently installed each Library release in hope, there
is no local help associated with my VS2005. The IDE behaves like no local
help exists, even though I specified that this be used first.

I can find no configuration options anywhere in VS2005 that might help.

Did you see my thread(s)...?

Specifically, pasting this into the URL of the VS2005 help, and then adding
all the desired selections and restarting as instructed..?

ms-help://MS.VSCC.v80/dv_vscccommon/local/CollectionManager.htm

Sorry if you saw that and tried it already.. I don't have any other
suggestions.. But if you have any questions about this particular one..
Please let me know.. It drove me crazy for at *lease* half a year before I
even tried posting maybe back in March or so and *finally* figured it out
just a few weeks ago!

I hope that helps..

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you posting!

How are the things going? Does Andrew's suggestion work for you?

If the problem still exists, would you please give us more detailed
information about your case, such as how do you install your MSDN for
Visual Studio 2005, what's the behavior when you press F1 inside the VS2005
IDE, does your MSDN 2005 work OK when you launch it stand alone?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Gary Chang
