Installed VS 6.

After install, expanding the DCOM folder in dcomcnfg.exe generates an error
closing the MMC.

Event Log entires:

Application Error Event ID 1000

mfc42u.dll, version 6.5.9146.0, fault address 0x0000000000063c5d.

Installed VS6 SP6 and the error persists.
Any ideas?
