Hi have a environment where two people are working on a same project. One is in US and other is working here. Both have their code put in VSS and both are logging in same domain. How do i link both the vss so that both the vss have the latest code at any point of time.
Rajesh,
I assume from your description that at least one of the developers are at a
remote location. Are you using VPN or how is the remote developer connecting
the the VSS server? I don't recommend using VSS over the Internet because of
various issues with VSS access over a WAN. If you need to use the Internet
and don't have a VPN, I recommend you use a tool such as SourceOffSite from
SourceGear (http://www.sourcegear.com/sos/index.asp). Now, if this isn't the
answer to your question, please rephrase.
