ZoneAlarm blocking VS.NET

When i installed ZA in my XP machine, my VS.NET freezes when i open up
a solution/project (asp.net apps). Also, if i run my program in
http://localhost/<apps>, it just wouldn't load up. but of course if i
shut down my ZA, everything works fine.

I want my ZA to present all the time as i do my apps.

anybody has this problem..

please help.. TIA

I have seen the issue before, but don't have ZA installed. ZA contains a
feature known as Script Blocking. Script Blocking causes problems with
VSNet as it uses a lot of script.

You should be able to configure the script blocker to not run on VSNet, and
then things should start working for you.

I checked with zonelabs. theres really a problem with ZA ver 5 that
blocks server ports like ftp, IIS ..etc..so the solution provided were
wait for the patch or move back to the previous version 4.5.

i just cant believe ZA will release a version thats not totally
tested. that sucks.. i coud have liked the product even more only with
this shortcoming.
