Have you tried to reinstall the FrontPage Server Extensions on the server
You might also want to install the .NET Framework as well on the server

    create an asp.net project from Visual Studio on the real machine,

    "cannot find the components for communicating with the front pag
    server extensions
   
    The Visual Studio pre-requisites disk installs Front Page Serve
    Extensions 2000. I un-installed that and installed Front Page Serve
    Extensions 2002; still no go
   
    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
