Hello,

I'm not sure what log this output is from, so let's try something else.
What is the error you get on the screen when you try to run the setup for
the Pre-Requisite disc? Typically, it tells you that a component(s) was not
successfully installed. We can then double click the installaiton for that
individual component(s). For example, the setup runtime files setup file is
bootstrap.msi, the Front Page web extension client is weccom.exe, the .NET
Framework is DotNetFX.EXE

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I did not think anyone was listening out there.
The entries I copied are from log named "DepCheck71" and it is located at "C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Temp". This log is generated each time I attempt to install VS .Net 2003 Pro. It is the only log created that has any errors indicated. There are other logs but they all say completed successfully with no problems. This happens as the first step (at least for me) after I load the VS .Net 2003 Pro CD. I am not sure how to proceed from here. Sorry for being so dense but I am stumped. Thanks again for answering my plea.. Tim

Okay, so try double clicking bootstrap.msi and let's see what error it
gives you.

Okay, the only BOOTSTRAP file I could find was on a CD named "Windows Component Update for VS. Net" disc 1313.1 Dated April 2002. Bootstrap Properties (Type: Windows Installer package; Size: 236 KB; created Sat. Jan. 05,2002 4:30 PM) I double clicked it and nothing happens. No Logs appear to have changed and no pop-up messages appear. Is there another source for this bootstrap.msi file ?
