server timeout issue

.net 2003 local server-client - 25 Apr 2004 02:25 GMT

I have .net 2003 setup on xp pro machine w IIS installed.
I've been trying to connect to my server remotely using
the server ip address for example
http://serveripaddresshere/asp/welcome.htm but the client
gets the server time out message. I can see the website
locally from several machines but cannot browse to
remotely.
