I found the only message in this forum describing the similar problem and a
response to use a proper CD. And the problem is that after installing Visual
Studio .Net 2003 Enterprise Developer attempt to install Visio results in a
message "You must first install Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise
Architect"
Visio CD seems to belong to 2003 pack ( received via MSDN Universal
subscription  ) and the label reads "Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003
Enterprise Architect ( Visio for Enterprise Architects 7.1 )  . I do have
Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Developer itself running without any problem.
Any ideas ?

TIA
Michael

Hello, Michael.
You mention that you have installed Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Developer
Edition. Unless you meant to say Enterprise Architect Edition, that is
probably your problem. Enterprise Developer and Enterprise Architect are
different editions and recognized as such by the Visio installer. As you
have a MSDN Universal subscription, you can install one of the standalone
editions of Visio available through MSDN, or install Visual Studio .NET
Enterprise Architect Edition, then install "Visio for Enterprise Architects
7.1"

Yes, it was the case, thanks. Should I uninstall  Enterprise Developer
Studio completely first or it would be possible to install Enterprise
Architect on a top and it will add missing features.
