Internal error 2337 on CD#3 during Install

Hello,

I have been trying to install VS.Net EA for at least 2 weeks.  I keep
getting the error box on CD 3, "Internal Error 2337".  I've seen where
others have also had this error, but I've not seen the answer to the
problem.  While trying to do a complete install, it happens on CD 3 at the
file : Microsoft.VisualStudioAnalyzer.Automation.dll.  I've tried on Win2k
as well as XP Pro, same result.  If I only install VB, the error is still
on CD3, however the file is envdte.dll.  Also instead of showing a Directory
name above the File name during the install, just before the error, the
directory goes blank.

Can anyone help with this?  It seems that VS.Net EA  has a lot of problems
installing from what I've been reading.

Help!

After getting past several other errors (1711 is just 1),
I'm now further along in the install process than I've
ever been.  Now I got the same error as you 'Internal
error 2337'.

I'm installing (rather attempting an install) VS.NET 2003
Trail Version, on an XP Pro machine from a 1 CD
installation.  I've been trying to install this for a
couple of months with no luck.

The entry Directory is blank
The File entry is CrystalDecisions.Web.dll

If you find the answer please let me know it may solve my
problem or lead to the solution of my problem.

Thanks

Dayum!

I finally got it (VS.BET) installed.

What I did:

Shut down my firewall (ZoneAlarm)
Shut down my Spam Kill (SAProxy)
Shut down my Anti Virus (Norton)
Defrag'ed the hard drive 5 - 6 times back to back it gets
better each time.
Closed all other apps (Yahoo IM, OutLook, QuakeII)
I installed only what I wanted and needed
  Not Installed:
   1. J#
   2. VB
   3. Crystal Reports

It installed with no further problems
