I'm trying to uninstall some pre-loaded software that I don't need or want.
It was teaser software trial that was on the machine when I bought it. When I
try to uninstall through Control Panel, I get error code 2755. My OS is Vista
Home Premium.

Then, you should first ask the computer vendor tech support. They are the
ones who made the install image. If you wish to also ask in a newsgroup,
you'll need to select a Vista group instead of this .NET programming group.
To find the group you need:

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Windows. In the Windows category, open the category for Windows Vista.
There,
select an appropriate group.

This might be Windows Installer error 2755, which is often associated with
permissions - search MS Help and Support. It's possibly you need to to
ensure that you are in administrator mode when you uninstall. Are you
getting an elevation prompt to do the uninstall? If not, maybe you're
uninstalling as limited user and failing.
