Hi,

I want to install VS Express on my D drive. I don't have much space on C:.

The installer gives me the option to install on D but then it dies, I'm thinking it's because there isn't alot of space on C.

But if I have plenty of space on D why can't it just install there.

I have enough space on C for registry stuff and small stuff like that, but for the full install.

Is there a way to have the installation go on D in my situation?

Thanks!

How little space on C:?
Regardless of where you set the installation target, there is some space
needed on your OS drive for shared DLL's, etc. There is no way to put the
whole thing on D:, so you'll need to free up space on C:.
