VS2003 features gone in VS2005?

Hello,

There are some VS2003 features that I grew used to but I cannot find them in VS2005 (SP1).

1) I'd like to hide the "Scopes in" and "Functions in" dropdowns.
I use Visual Assist instead.

2) The tabs bar had right/left arrows that allowed me to have more than a screenfull of tabs.
I Cannot find them now.

Any ideas?

Hi Alex,

From your description, you're looking for some certain feature that
available in VS.NET 2003 but not found in VS 2005 IDE, correct?

According to the two features you mentioned

2) The tabs bar had right/left arrows that allowed me to have more than a
screenfull of tabs.

this one is due to the new design of the multi-document switcher. In VS.NET
2003, it provide two arrow button(left and rigtht) to let us switch the
current focused and displayed document. For VS 2005, instead of the left
and right button, it use a dropdown button instead. You can click that
dropdown button to get a list of all the opened document and click any one
to make it selected and displayed.

1) I'd like to hide the "Scopes in" and "Functions in" dropdowns.
I use Visual Assist instead.

For this feature, would you provide us some more explanation on it? You can
give us steps to perform such a task in VS.NET 2003 so that we can get more
idea on it.

I see.

My mistake.
Turning off the "navigation bar" in the text editor settings achieves the desired effect.
