Hi everyone,
I am having an issue where when I try to close VS 2005 and it has a
project open, then it takes a really long time (~ 1 minute) to
completely shut it down. This is unbearably slow for me. Any
suggestions?
TIA!

Well .NET hasproven why you write things in C++.
The IDE was written in .NET and its a PIG. No other way around it. Its just that slow. Opening projects takes forever. Compiling is slow. Saving a project can take for ever.

So far the web apps I have written just like the IDE is slow as well.

Bob
