I'm getting the following error attempting to install Vs 2005 Ent Dev using the files downloaded from MSDN: "--------------------------- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 --------------------------- Setup discovered the following problem: Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 cannot be installed on this version of the operating system. You must install Windows 2000 SP4 or later, and rerun setup." I have Win XP service pack 2. I know that VS 2005 will not install on XP *without* SP2. Are you sure SP 2 is installed? I recently got MSDN Premium and that was my understanding. I suppose I could use one of my complimentary support calls.
