I hope someone can help me in this rare issue.
I was installing VS2005 from a DVD copy, and suddenly, I got this error
message: "Error 1305. Error reading from file e:\vs\Program Files\Microsoft
Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\GuiDebug\shortcutCLRDbg32.txt. Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it." The windows message gives me only two
buttoms, Retry and Cancel. I retried many times but always gave me the same
error.
Then, I explored the DVD to go into the file. Even though I try to open the
file shortcutCLRDbg32.txt, I cannot. It gives me this message: "Cannot open
the E:\VS\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
8\SDK\v2.0\GuiDebug\shortcutCLRDbg32.txt file. Makes sure a disk is in the
drive you specified"
Finally, the only choice that I have is just to click Cancel.
I am using Windows XP PRO SP2.
