Problems installing VS.Net Professional

When attempting to run set-up.exe from the CD, I get stuck
on the message "Visual Studio .NET Prerequisites" which
indicates that system components required for set-up do
not match those found on my computer.  From the
documentation, it seems as though my system components
meet requirements.   I have recently downloaded the .NET
1.1 framework and SDK to remedy the problem but to no
avail.

The message doesn't really give much information.  Any
ideas what I'm missing?

Thanks!

You may need to download and install the Web Extensions
Client also for the install from the cd to work.  This
article http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?

us/dv_vstechart/html/vstchdeployingvsusingactivedirectory.
asp is a good refernce for what is required to get VS.Net
2003 to install correctly.
