I installed a Beta 2 of VS 2005 and obtained an activation code. I never got chance to use it tho because when I tried to run the program I got the Beta 2 expired message. What is going on and how can I fix it?

Can we assume you recently installed this beta?
The betas for VS 2005 have all expired since the RTM. The behavior you are
seeing is normal and cannot be circumvented.
Your best bet now is to download the Express Edition(s) of your choice.
