I'm rebuilding a development PC. I installed Visual Studio 2005 before
installing SQL 2005. Now, when I click New->Project, Business Intelligence
Projects is not amoung the options.

Any pointers on how to get Business Intelligence Projects to appear under
Project Types in the New Project dialog?

Thanks,

Hi Randy,

Thank you for posting.

As for the "Business Intelligence Projects" you mentioned, based on my
understanding, it is actually associated with your SQL 2005 installation.
After you have installed SQL 2005 and the client/workstation
components, you will find the  "Business Intelligence Development Studio" in
your SQL 2005's program menu. And this will also install the project
templates into the existing VS 2005 shell (or install the shell if it is
not on the machine yet). So have you installed the SQL 2005 and the
workstation components?

Regards,
