"Please wait while Windows configures MS VS 2005" whenever I start Outlook

I uninstalled VS2005 Beta (which never had a problem) and installed VS2005.
Now I always get the message "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft
Visual Studio 2005 Professional Ediiton - ENU" whenever I try to start
Outlook 2003. The behaviour following this depends on whether or not I have
the VS2005 DVD in the drive, but it is never succesful. This behaviour also
occurs when I start Project 2003, and I have also seen it when I started a
third party COM component browser.

I also have VS2003 and VB6 on this machine. The version of Outlook 2003 has
the Business Contact Update piece, which I recently installed along with
Small Business Accounting. (I am a contractor, and my laptop is my main dev
machine as well as my main business admin machine).

I can always get around the problem by clicking Cancel once or twice, (or
about 8 times in Project) but its bloody annoying. I tried installing the
Primary Interop Assemblies for Outlook, just on a hunch, but no luck.

Any ideas gratefully appreciated.

OK, seems to be fixed - I did a "repair installation" on VS2005, and the
problem is no longer happening.
