Hey Paul,
I've been trying for more than two weeks to get VS Team Addition to install
properly and run. See my previous thread titled "Visual Studio 2005 Package
Load Failure" and dated 11/5/2005.
Anyway, I've tried everything possible at this point. The only thing left is
to reformat my hard drive and start over. That'll have to wait until December
as it will take many days to rebuild my current work environment.
It is most irritating that pain comes at such a high cost. Microsoft has
really screwed up on the setup program this time.

Just to let you know I had to strip down the machine for every CTP and beta
version
of VS.NET 2005, SQL Server 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0 beta.
A good site for these issues is;
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/11.aspx
Basically all the CTP and Beta 2 stuff seems to run on .NET 2.0 .50215.
The new releases run on .NET 2.0 .50727 - The final release RTM version.
If you don't want to strip down the machine - Think twice about upgrading to
the final releases - Its all or nothing (or so it seems so far - still
rebuilding the
machine).
