Hi all,
I am trying to intall Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server. At end of
installation progress, i am getting that error ;
Error 32000.The Commandline '"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Enterprise Server\BISIISDIR\bisdwserver\bin\SetupWarehouse.exe" -n -s "MSF"
-d BisDWDB -c "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Enterprise
Server\BISIISDIR\bisdwserver\bin\Consolidated.xml" -a "TESTMSF\TFSSERVICE"
-ra "TESTMSF\TFSSERVICE" -v -l
"c:\DOCUME~1\TFSSETUP\LOCALS~1\Temp\setupwarehouse.log"' returned non-zero
value: 3.
within setupwarehouse.log:
...The following system error occurred: No mapping between account names
and security IDs was done...
How can i fix this problem?
Thanks

I had the same error and took the steps to try to debug each command by
running them from the command prompt while setup is waiting for you to
respond to Retry/Cancel. This gave me more info on the problem and I traced
it to Analysis Services.
When I installed SQL 2005 I used a (single) specific account for all the
different SQL Services, I changed it for AS to the local system account and
then things worked from the command prompt, so I then clicked continue.
Now I get a different error message (same old 32000 though!):
---------------------------
Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation App-Data Tier Beta 2 Setup
---------------------------
Error 32000.The Commandline '"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Enterprise Server\BISIISDIR\sdk\bin\BisSubscribe.exe" /eventType
ArtifactChangedEvent /userid mydomain\tfsservice /deliveryType Soap /Address
http://<server>:8080/Currituck/BisService.asmx' returned non-zero value: 1.
---------------------------
Retry Cancel
---------------------------
If I extract the command and try it at the command prompy this time I get an
error back from BisSubscrive.exe stating:
Error - Invalid arguments.
So, I am not able to proceed further with this as I am not able to run this
command to get more clues as to what is going wrong.
Please help!
I hope all this time is going to be worth it when I finally get TFS
installed!!
