Hello,

I'm attempting to reinstall Studio Net 2003 Professional on XP Pro with SQL
2000 Developer on the machine.  Everytime I start it it brings up the
pre-requisites as being incomplete and launching into an installation of
MySQL.  I've let this run through but it simply will not let me go beyond
that.  Has anyone else had this experience before?  Is there a workaround?

Thanks for your help!

There is a way (command line switch) what can tell to the setup tp skip
checking the prerquisites on your computer.

Please, refer to this kb article (Bypass Windows Component Update):

Hi Cris,

I figured it out just a few minutes ago.  It was bringing up the setup.exe
for MySQL that I had in a folder in My Documents.  I wiped it out and tried
installing again and it worked this time, go figure.  But thanks for the tip!
