Sandeep,
This problem usually occurs for one of two reasons. Either the local
System account does not have full control over your %TEMP% folder or there
is a problem with the hard disk or file system. To troubleshoot, perform
the following steps:
Check Permissions on User Temp Folder
1. Click Start>Run and type %USERPROFILE% then click OK
2. Click Tools>Folder Options and Show Hidden Files and Folders
3. Open Local Settings
4. Right-click the Temp folder and choose Properties
5. Click Security and make sure that both the Administrators group and the
local System account have Full Control
Check Drive for Errors
1. Click Start>Run and type CMD then click OK
2. Type CHKDSK C: /f /r and hit Enter
3. Choose to run the disk check on the next boot
4. Restart Windows
5. Disk Checking should repair any errors and will also mark bad sectors
so they will not be written to in the future
If all else fails, get a Filemon (www.sysinternals.com) log and search for
lines with "Access Denied"
