Hi my problem is that visual studio loads but does not load correctly it
comes up with two DLL. errors.

1. An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line    71
char      1
Error     A dynamic link library [DLL] initialization routine failed
code      0
URL      vs:/default.htm
---------------------------------------------------------------
2.    An error has occurred in the script on this page
 Line    154
 Char   3
error      'undefined is null or not an object
  Code 0
  URL      vs:/default.htm
These are the only messages I get  I only have the solution explorer and it
only show the references and also no tools.
I have try a couple of things but I am now lost with this problem

Is this behavior consistent from the time you installed, or a new symptom?
IOW, did Visual Studio .NET 2002 ever work for you?
If it has never worked correctly, I'd say you have a failed installation.
Have you tried uninstalling Visual Studio, then reinstalling?
You might want to have a look at the following articles:

Hi I did have VB.net as a beta 2 version I removed it first and then went to
computer management and the Services & Application and to services to
disable what was left of the programme then installed the new software but
it has not worked at all. It does how ever work on my laptop. which has
never had the beta2 version. I  have been over the web addresses that you
have sent me before I wrote this letter. My next option is to back up what I
want to keep and then do a full  format and reinstall everything

Before you resort to the "ultimate" solution, have your read this article?

As you'd see the others, you may well have seen this one too. If not, it's
worth a try.

This problem might not relate to a previous beta installation.  Generally,
when I see this problem, it relates to corrupt or missing Windows Scripting
Host files or a previous installation of the MSXML4.0 Beta.

To correct the problem, try installing the following packages:

Windows Script 5.6

Microsoft XML Parser 3.0 Service Pack 4
