According to Help/About Developing Environment, my version of VS.Net 2003
Professional is:

Microsoft Development Environment 2003 - Version 7.1.3088
Microsoft .NET framework 1.1 - Version 1.1.4322 SP1

As far as I remember, Help/Check For Upgrades has never found upgrades to
download since I installed the VS.Net about one year ago. What is the latest
version of the Developing Environment ?

Thank's,
Kjartan

Excerpt for a security bug about CrystalReport
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/downloads/updates/default.aspx ), there
are no available upgrades for VS.NET 2003 (or 2002, by the way); only
hoftixes that you must search and ask for.

Sadly to say and quite probably, the next upgrade will be available only
around the end of next summer and will be called VS.NET 2005.

Thank's Sylvain,
Glad to hear that VS.Net 2003 was perfect from the beginning :)... Any idea
what will be updated and/or new in VS.Net 2005 ?

A lot of things will get better with VS.NET 2005.  I think that there will
be more changes (ameliorations) going from VS.NET 2003 to 2005 than there
were with going from 2002 to 2003.

However, I wonder if VS.NET 2005 - like 2002/2003 - will be perfect from the
beginning, too...
