My development team are moving our development projects to a new server,
from Windows NT4 & Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Server. We have a number of
VS6 and VS.NET 2002 web projects that we need to support on the new server,
as well as developing new VS.NET 2003 web projects.

The question is this.

Do we need to install the Visual Interdev Server (VS6) as well as the VS.NET
2002 Remote Components on our new server, as well as the VS.NET 2003 Remote
Components, such that we continue to support/develop web projects created
using all three development? Or can we get away with just installing the
VS.NET 2003 Remote Components?

Additionally, is anyone away of any problems running all three server
components on the same Windows 2003 Server?

Many thanks in advance,

Phil

Is there anyone out there that knows the answer to this? Or is it just
an obvious question, the answer to which is in the original post, i.e.
yes, you do need to install all three in order they were released?

Cheers,

Phil

Well, we have all 3 installed, since we still are supporting, developing in
all 3.

Stringfellow,

Thanks for replying. Did you experience any issues with the SS
integration with IIS when developing in any of the VS versions?

Cheers,

Phil
