failed to install Visual Studio .net 2005 Beta with error 1935

For your information, the following is the current configuration of my PC:
1. Windows XP Service pack 2 with latest windows updates (including .NET
framework 1.1 sp1)
2. I recently installed then unsinstalled the following: visual basic
express 2005 beta, visual web developer 2005 beta, msdn for visual studio
.net 2003
3. Currently installed are the following: sql server 2005 beta 1, sql server
2005 express beta 1

When trying to install visual studio .net 2005 beta, i received the
following errors:
(from dd_vserror80.txt)

[09/09/04,11:03:29] Visual Studio 2005 Beta - English: [2] ERROR:Error
1303.The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory:
I:\Config.Msi.  The installation cannot continue.  Log on as administrator or
contact your system administrator.

1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly
