VSTO & Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition

Is there a VSTO option for Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition? Or is it
only packaged with the Professional edition?

I ask because I have 2008 Standard ed. (not yet installed on my new laptop),
but doubt my IS dept will spring to upgrade me to Professional.
Unfortunately I can't downgrade to 2005 as they lost the disc..

Yes, VSTO only is included in VS2008 Pro or VS2008 Team Developer/Architect,
not Standard Edition.

I take it that means there's no stand alone download option for VS 2008
Standard either?

Nope. Note the site in the signature below. The .NET edition of Add-in
Express 2008 for Office allows creating managed add-ins without VSTO.
