Scripted install, uninstall and repair problem.

I need to be able to install, uninstall and repair Office 2007 Professional
Plus, using MSP's to deliver differant configurations. I have started with
the full install. My install script works correctly, but the repair and
uninstall script using the Product ID from Setup.XML, kicks back the error
message "This Product isntallation has been corrupted. Run setup again from
the CD, DVD, or other original installation source". After the installation
this warning appears in the application event viewer:
"A provider, OffProv12, has been registered inthe WMI namespace,
Root\MSAPPS12, to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and
the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly
inpersonate users requests". The Office Suite opens and runs all components.
Repair and uninstall work from Add/remove Programs. This is a clean install
on a fresh Windows XP Pro imaged with Altiris (SYSPREPEd). Anyone got any
ideas?

Robert,
I guarantee this isn't directly related to the scripted install.  I did a manual install of Office 2007 Professional, Visio 2007 and Project 2007 on my XP Pro SP2 system and I have the same warning popping up in my event log...verbatim.

FYI...it's just a typical quality release, no?

I don't understand this question. The source files came from a MS CD of the
full release, January 2007, not an RC or a Beta. I have been able to do both
these functions in Office 2000, xp and 2003. Office 2007 is a totally
differant bird, though and the support basis very shallow, more questions
than answers.
Thanks for the affirmation of the issue though.
