hi all,
i have created a Word Template project using vs2005. the template is
copied to the "C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data
\Microsoft\Templates" folder and the assemblies are on the client
machine. Now my problem is that the user is saving some of his
documents on a shared network drive (the drive is shared to all users
in the company) so when trying to open one of these documents - the
document looses the assembly. how can i put the template (dot file)
and the assembly so it will be accessible to every one in the network
regarless where they are saving their documents - (on the client
machine or on the network drive).
one more question is if i could leave the assembly on the client
machine as each user has different settings in the App.config file.
thanks

I think this walkthrough could get you started working through some of the
issues:
