I have VS 2005 and VSTO SE installed, and the CustomTaskPane function is not available in a ppt 2003 add-in. The following code: CustomTaskPane ctp = this.CustomTaskPanes.Add(new Collaborate(), "My Caption"); ...results in a "namespace "CustomTaskPane" could not be found" error. I have Office.Core, Office.Tools, and Office.Interop.Powerpoint referenced in the project. Any ideas here? Microsoft Office 2003+ supports Custom Task Panes... I really don't think so, but if you're sure, please share with us how you did it. I certainly can't find it. I can add a VSTO ActionsPane to an Add-in by forcing a reference to the VSTO Tools, but when I try to actually load it, it generates an exception. (Actions panes are only available to Word and Excel document-level customizations.)
