Sounds like you just downloaded the VSTO runtime (vstor.exe). But vstor.exe
isn't VSTO 2005--vstor.exe is just the runtime files for end-user computers,
not the design time tools for developers (which would include the project
types). VSTO 2005 is a full edition of Visual Studio, so to get the design
tools you have to buy the VSTO 2005 product or the Visual Studio Team System
products (the Office tools are not included with Visual Studio 2005
Professional or Standard). Also, VSTO is included in some MSDN
subscriptions. There's more information about VSTO here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/products/vsto/default.aspx

Hi Harry,
I wonder if there is a Hands-On lab available for this VSTO 2005 ? If so,
please let me know how to get it.
Thanks,
Eric.-

Yes, there are VSTO 2005 hands-on labs for Excel and Word on MSDN:
