Hi,
I only use TFS Explorer to manage my TFS2008 projects. Is there any specific
TFS management task that I cannot do it through TFS explorer and I have to
go to actual server to do it?
I just wanted to confirm that I am not loosing any feature by using only TFS
explorer.
Thank you,
Max

Hello Max,
Team Explorer is the correct way to manage TFS Project. We won't lose any
feature if using Team Explorer to manage TFS Project. Moreover, as far as I
know, there is no other tool to manage TFS Project (excludes Team
Explorer). Even though we log on TFS Server, we also should have to manage
TFS Project by Team Explorer.
I'm not sure what do you mean by "manage TFS Project on TFS Server
directly". Do you use any other 3rd party product?
Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything
unclear. We are glad to assist you.
Have a great day,
Best regards,
Wen Yuan
