I'm using vusial 2k8 and i have two cs design view pages open sude by side in
a two tabgroup  view. I'm replacing the html controls in page 1 with the aspx
controls in page 2 by clicking selecting and reght clicking. When ever i move
from page 1 t oto and select the control to copy the code behind page opens
and an event is generated. Anyway to turn this off?

I don't see anything obvious under Tools | Options. There may be some
obscure registry entry, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Visual
designers have worked like this since VB and I bet MS thinks everyone loves
the behavior and can't dream of anyone wanting to turn it off.

yeah, but i'm a c# guy! we hate auto wireup and I re-use event behaviors so
that the onclick handler is reused for most other buttons on the page!!!!

Just kidding, I always hate the "well, i've got a reason because i'm better
than you attitude" And i've noticed that too about previous versions.
If i right click onstead of select it works found out my accident.

Thanks for your responce.
