I have followed the instruction in this article:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bs2bkwxc(VS.80).aspx
However whenever I load a visual studio project from the network share i
still get the "Project location is not trusted" message. I have rebooted
since changing the security policy. Does anybody have any idea what might be
causing this?
Thanks

Hello NickName,
According to your description, you want to get rid of the warning message
"Project Location is not trusted" when loading a VS project from the
network share. If I misunderstood anything here, please correct me.
If this is the case, the article which you found is the correct method to
resolve this issue.
Would you please let me know the exact UNC path which you typed in the STEP
5?
[5.Choose a condition type of URL, and enter the UNC path to the share
location of your project, using the format file://\\servername\sharename\*
where \\servername\sharename is the name of the share. Click Next.]
In your case, it should be something like
file://\\sha-dng-wytest\TestFolder\ConsoleApplication1\*.
By the way, we need not reboot the machine to change the security policy.
You can just restart you Visual Studio IDE after modified security policy.
Hope this helps. Please let me know the exact UNC patch. I will follow up.
We are glad to assist you.
Have a great day,
Best regards,
Wen Yuan
