How do you remove the field/expression shading on code snippets after they
are complete?

I'm guessing you're using VB (it helps to specify). I don't program in (the
.NET version of) VB, but I seem to recall that you have to either save the
file or completely close and reopen it for the shading to go away. And I'm
too lazy to test it....
