I'm trying to configure some asp.net data components to consume data from a
web service that I've exposed for my application.  I can access the web
service and I can see the dataset definitions that I've exposed.

But I can't get VS2005 to show the Data Sources window unless I'm in a
Windows Forms project.

* How do I get this functionality in an ASP.Net project?

This would really make my life easier and help me avoid breaking the web app
by making changes in the web service.

Thanks,

Jason

Hello Jason,

As you see, there are many differences between Asp.net project model and
Winform project model. Data Sources Window is one of them. I'm sorry to say
it is only available in Winform Project.

Actually, in ASP.net world, there is a similar window named Website Data
Source. However, it is only available when designing a report. Thus, I'm
afraid this isn't helpful in current scenario...

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
