According to your description, I understand that VS 2005 Error List will
pop up, each time you type a letter (or delete one letter). Please correct
me if I misunderstand anything here. If true, I could understand this must
have made it impossible for you to continue to edit code.

However, we haven't met such issue before. In order to narrow down and
resolve this issue,
I want to confirm some information with you. Would you please consider the
following lists of items.

1. Have you applied the latest service pack (VS2005 sp1)? If not, I would
like to suggest you apply the service pack.

2. If we disable Add-ns (e.g. "Tools" | "Add-in Manager") and run
"devenv.exe /safemode", do we still have the problem? This can eliminate
the possibility that third party Add-ins are causing problems.

3. If we create a new project, do we still have the problem? Sometimes
corrupted project settings can cause problems. These are project specific.

4. If we create a new user account, do we have the problem? This can help
to isolate user profile corruption related causes.

5. If we reboot the operating system to safe mode, do we have the problem?
This can help to isolate whether any other applications are interfering
with Visual Studio. Some features (like IIS) are not available under safe
mode. Please check whether this can apply or not. In addition to safe mode,
we also suggest "clean boot":
