Hello,

I have VS2005 version 8.0.50727.762 (SP.050727-7600)

Something has failed in the IDE such that I can no longer use the 'Go
to Definition' and related functions.
When I try the 'Go to Definition', I always get a "the symbol
'<symbol>' is not defined.'  Even on symbols I know are defined in the
basic win*.h files.

Is there anyway to reset this functionality or do I need to do a
complete reinstall?

Thanks,
-Eric

Try closing the solution and deleting the .ncb file. Then reopen and wait
for it to regenerate ('Updating Intellisense...')
