I have Developer Team Edition (SP1) installed on my computer and want to
uograde to Team Suite. Do I need to uninstall the Team Edition first and
install Team Suite or just run the Team Suite installation over for it to
upgrade automatically?

Just run Team Suite installation and it will install the missing
components.
