Hi,
I have a problem with my VS2005 IDE.
I'm not able to see any Addin that I download and install. The path to my
Addin files are correct. But, I don't see the Addin's in my Addin manager
and they don't show on my IDE either.
Can you please point me to known issues or settings that I must correct
Thanks,
Suds

One of our users has the same problem with our VSdocman. We couldn't
reproduce it nor could he on other computer.

The problematic computer has Win 2003 with running terminal services, VS
2005 + SP1. He did note that in the event log, there is a new error that
is logged each time he starts VS:

"Source: .Net Runtime
Type: Error
Unable to open shim database version registry key - v2.0.50727.00000."

It may be related to your problem. Do you have this error logged? If
yes, there is a fix at http://tinyurl.com/23dhcp, registry
modification or MS hotfix. Let us all know here if this was the case.

Hi,
Thanks for this replies,
I had Service pack 1 installed. I removed it, even then I could not see
Add-ins. Eventually I had to reinstall VS2005.
I works now.
Thanks
Suds
