Hi,

I have installed vs2K5 on a new system and the 'Exceptions...' MenuItem
doesn't show. (Debug>Exceptions...)
I can use the shortcut (CTRL+ALT+E) but I would like to have the item also
shown in the menu.
Is this perhaps some option under 'Tools>Options...'?

TIA,

Michael

Hi Michael,

It appears your Visual Studio 2005 IDE has been customized. I suggest you
can import one standard VS2005 setting to restore that menu item. Just
select Tools | Import and Export Settings... to open the wizard, then
choose a standard vssetting you like.

I hope the above information helps, if you have any questions or concerns,
please do not hesitate to let me know. I am standing by to help you.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Gary Chang

Nopes... I have restored it back to the previous state.
All my Custom ToolBox-Tabs & Snippets were gone!
That's alot of work :-(

So I'm back to "square one"....

Sorry for the inconvenience, Michael.

I am afraid I missed to mention you that importing a new vssetting will
replace your current custom one. :(

You can also add that meun item back manually:

1.On the Tools menu, click Customize.

2. In the Customize dialog box, click the Commands tab. Click Rearrange
Commands.

3. Under Choose a menu or toolbar to rearrange, select Menu Bar and then
choose the 'Debug' menu from the drop-down list.

4. Click Add. In the Add Command dialog box, select a category name 'Debug'
in the Categories list and then select an appropriate command 'Exceptions
'in the Commands list.

5. Click OK and then click Close.

Wish this helps!

Best regards,

Gary Chang
