I receive the above message any time I try to add an item to an existing or
new project.  I have searched and found that the WSH may be the problem, but
I have installed it, twice.  I have tried re-registering msxml3.dll.
Nothing seems to work.  I can't add anything, so I am stuck...

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi Joel,

Some ideas:

- Use a registry monitor (http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Regmon.html)
to see what COM object is trying to use VS and it is failing...

- Reinstall / Repair / Uninstall + Install ...

This is a brand new installation of VS.net.  I had completely
uninstall/rinstalled after having problems with the nav keys not working.

While running the Regmon, I found that I was getting an access denied on the
Scripting.FileSystemObject and a couple of other Scripting references.  I
tried installing the WSH v 5.6 (is this the latest)  and got an error when
trying to register the jscript.dll.

In the registry, I could not acess the scirpting reg entries.  I was able to
go in and take ownership of the reg entries and then when I tried to add a
web form, I did not get the error, but nothing was added.  I then
re-installed the WSH.  Then I was getting the error again.  I am not sure
what to do next...

Hope this helps
