Does anyone know why on a large project, I cannot use Edit & Continue. ?

the IDE shows the .vb file as locked (read only)

it does not happen *all* the time, but is now happening on all E&C.

Great Community Support.

the issue is due to "Enable Unmanaged Debugging" being on in the project
properties.

so, I will leave post here in case it helps anyone else.
